    Cardinal Half Fold Packaging Cardinal Health's new half-fold glove dispenser boxes are at least 30 percent smaller and use at least 15 percent less paperboard than competitive products sold in tall packaging configurations. Individual pouches within the half-fold dispenser boxes are at least 48 percent smaller than competitive products.  More

    Precious Sticksters Lactalis American Group Inc. has switched to partially renewable packaging for its Precious Sticksters snack cheese brand. The new laminated material, which is 50 percent plant-based, generates up to 35.2 percent fewer greenhouse gases and uses up to 36.8 percent less energy than the conventional petroleum-based materials it replaces.  More

Boxiecat's founder, Josh Wiesenfeld, says, "When considering that there are 86.4 million pet cats in the United States, it becomes clear that all the round trips to the store being made by cat lovers, and all the packaging waste adds up.     Silgan Curvy label Silgan Plastics has installed the first Avery Dennison Curve Appeal labeling system in North America at its Ligonier, IN, manufacturing plant. This labeling system combines Fasson Curvy pressure-sensitive label material with a new patent-pending Avery Dennison application process that will enable Silgan to apply p-s labels to complex curved package shapes, creating a more eye-catching billboard on each bottle.  More
